It has already been two decades since Dimitris Christofileas, Takis Christofileas and Diomidis Kapsalis, three self-made people with family ties, common memories and rich gastronomic experience, decided to join forces to realize their vision: to create something truly unique in the field of catering.
In the kitchen, the head (Executive Chef) is Dimitris Skarmoutsos, the well-known to all of us acclaimed chef and co-owner.
All four share the same mission: quality, the greek spirit, authenticity, originality, honesty, eclecticism and trust to transform every social event, every dinner and every gathering into a rare experience, a ritual that will delight all the senses and highlight food as an enjoyable socialization process that has to do not only with the stomach, but also with the soul.
Since our establishment in 1996, our growth has been based on two central pillars: people and infrastructure.
In an business sector where everything is more or less similar, what ultimately makes the difference and cannot be copied is the “human factor”. With this in mind, we make sure that the employees who staff Dipnosofistirion Catering are top of their kind, from our glamorous chefs and pastry chefs, to our specialized partners at every stage of organizing an event (preparation, serving, flower decoration, lighting, audiovisual entertainment, use of fireworks, special effects, etc.). All of them have experience and know-how, they like to evolve and pursue innovation, they have the ability to operate even in conditions where time pressure seems unbearable or where the demands are really high.
The modern facilities of the company are housed in two buildings with a total area of approximately 7,000 sqm in Kifissia and Metamorfosi, which have large storage spaces, two kitchens with state-of-the-art equipment, offices and showroom.
