Delta Restaurant, a new haute cuisine greek restaurant, located at the 5th floor of Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC), having completed two years of operation, has maintened its 2 stars MICHELIN (Athens Guide 2023) and its MICHELIN Green Star for Sustainable Gastronomy (Athens Guide 2023).

This distinction acquires even greater dimensions as after two years of operation, Delta Restaurant remains the only Greek restaurant with two MICHELIN stars and one MICHELIN Green Star.

Green Star is a distinction that is directly linked to sustainability and helps the visitor recognize the special combination of high gastronomy and commitment to the principles of sustainability. With our basic principle “no loss, no waste”, we make sure that each ingredient participates in a cycle that can start from the appetizers, continue to the main courses and end in desserts.

These distinctions come to reward the effort made by the restaurant’s chefs George Papazacharias and Thanos Feskos to change the Greek gastronomic status quo, the unique wine choices of Tilemachos Papandreas, which act as the necessary punctuation marks enhancing taste and aftertaste, the welcoming smile and the excellent professionalism of restaurant manager Jana Cechova, the persistence of Dimitris Christofileas, Takis Christofileas, Diomedes Kapsalis and Dimitris Skarmoutsos (“Dipnosofistirion”) to choose the innovation, and the vision of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC), which is a landmark of modern Greece, a public space open to all, and a model of environmental sustainability in terms of design; construction, operation and footprint in the wider ecosystem.

Delta was created with the initiative and grant of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) with the aim of becoming a model gastronomic destination worthy of the SNFCC’s high standards, while highlighting Greek cuisine with the world.
